What a wonderful week back!
This week in our Rooted in Reading Series, we read the story Each Kindness. This is one of my favorites in second grade because it has such a beautiful message. Check it out on youtube.com :) We looked at the skill of how a character responds in a story and how this changes what happens in the story! In Grammar, we looked at Subject/Verb agreement.
In Math, we are working hard at three digit subtraction! In Handwriting, we are continuing with our uppercase cursive letters. In Religion, we are discussing the Liturgy of the Eucharist and are continuing with lots of First Communion practices!!
We really enjoyed our trip to Playhouse Square! We watched the performance of 'Dino-light'! We had wonderful behavior at the theater as well as on the bus (one proud teacher)!
Boosterthon and Earth Week were both celebrated this week and helped make our week even more special!
Scarlett and Liam read to Preschool this week!
