We had a great week!
This week in Rooted in Reading we looked at Poetry - Our book was called Old Elm Speaks! We concentrated on Alliteration, Onomatopoeia, Similies, Personification, and Repetition! We wrote poetry and listened to poetry. This was the last unit in Rooted in Reading. Next week we will look at and discuss the life cycle of a Bee :)

Emily had the class in 'stitches' when she read the book Perfect to the class!
We began our end of the year balloon pop! For the last 10 days of school, we pop a balloon with a fun activity to enjoy -----
Day 10 - writing on our desks with shaving cream :)
