Such a beautiful work despite the weather!!
Our story this week in our Rooted in Reading series was The Three Javalinas. The skill we worked on was comparing stories that are similar and also locating important moments that take place in a story and how they affect the story! In Grammar, we did a wonderful review of nouns, adverbs, verbs, and adjectives. A great thing before we take our MAP tests next week on Monday and Tuesday!
In Math, we are working on a measurement unit and in Handwriting we are continuing to form our cursive capital letters.
In Science, we are working on a Weather Unit! Last Friday, we looked at the water cycle and wind as we made our windsocks - so fun!
As guessed, we spent our week in Religion working on the Mass and our First Communion!
We had lots of fun with Boosterthon this week! Silly Hat and socks day, No Homework Pass, PJ day, extra recess, no shoes in class, desk pets, and now we are geared up for our last goal of Popcorn and Movie afternoon! We had a great time at the Fun Run on Thursday!! Thank you parents for all your support!
We are very excited that our butterfly larvae have arrived - we can't wait to watch the cycle and they turn into butterflies:)
Oliver and Charlotte read to Preschool this week!
