Welcome to the Catholic Church Jinny! We enjoyed watching your Baptism and we are ready to teach you everything about Jesus! We really liked our celebration after lunch - thank you Mrs. Anderson for supplying our delicious cookies!
We had a very busy week!
Our Rooted in Reading story was called Catching the Moon! This was a biography of Marcenia Lyle. We concentrated on the skill of Literal and Non-Literal. We also added a few similes in for fun!
In Math, we began adding two 3-digit numbers. Our first step was to add them on an open number line. We had some really tough ones to do so we had fun doing them with a buddy!
In Handwriting, we are moving along with our uppercase cursive letters. Beginning 4th quarter, we now do almost everything in cursive to get in lots of practice for 3rd grade!
In Religion, we continue to study the Mass and practicing going to Communion.
We really enjoyed our visit to the 3rd Grade Wax Museum--
Maddie read to Preschool this week!
