Such a beautiful Holy Week!
We finished last week with an activity with our eighth grade friends! We often get together since we are both receiving sacraments this year! This time we did a Lenten activity and had wonderful conversations as we worked :)
In Room 205, we spent a lot of our time this week on a Solar System Unit! We looked at the 8 planets and created our own book describing them! We had lots of fun and really enjoyed this short unit!
In Math, we began a unit on three digit subtraction. In Handwriting, we are continuing to add capital cursive letters to our skills and in Religion we are discussing the Liturgy of the Eucharist as we spend a lot of time in church practicing our readings, petitions, Mary Procession, Offertory Procession, and the process of going to Communion.
Our Lenten Retreat on Thursday was lots of fun! We met with all the K-2 teachers one at a time for a short Lenten activity! We also enjoyed making baskets for the poor :)
Maddie did a great job leading the class in Spanish!
Ronan and Olivia read to Preschool this week!
Jesus Books and Parent Support Letters are due April 25, 2022 when we return!
First Communion practice will be on April 25th at 7:00 - we can all meet in the Social Hall!
