What a wonderful week!
Our story in our Rooted in Reading series was Koala Lou. A beautiful story about a mother's love :) Check it out on youtube.com! We worked on the skill of problem and solution as well as character motivation. In Grammar, we discussed 'Shades of Meaning' in verbs. This is very similar to Synonyms but we looked at how some verbs are stronger than others :)
In Math, we are having fun with our measurement unit. In Handwriting we are continuing the upper case cursive letters :)
Our First Communion was so nice - the weather came through with a beautiful sunshiny day!
On Sunday, Julia and Sam crowned Mary! Another beautiful day!
We enjoyed a popsicle treat to celebrate our First Communion - thank you Mrs. McAleer :)
